Abhishek Bachchan - IDEA heavenly app series - aditya birla money

this is the only one in the series of the new IDEA heavenly apps ad, that is actually watchable and does not irritate you to the core. But this fact is due to the presence of our stereotypical portrayal of beloved Gujjus and not a bit due to the ever so smug looking Abhishek Bachchan. After few views, this ad also starts to get on your nerves like all others in the series. One quick off the topic remark: what the hell are the marketing department of Idea doing, can't they see the damage inflicted by such poor ads on the overall brand perception. wake up!!!

havells fan - Rajesh Khanna ad

Havells is coming with one brilliant ad after another. Its past advertisements have drawn attention and entertained us during the breaks in the IPL 2012
http://indianadvertisementreview.blogspot.com/2012/04/havell-fans-bijli-ad.html
This ad brings a strong emotional component and very cleverly delivers the message. Rajesh Khanna looks old but gracious, his voice over brings out a strong emotive message. The ad will definitely connect with masses and especially his fans. It has been shot and edited beautifully too. A loud applause for the ad agency making such great ads- Lowe Lintas.

celkon ad - Virat Kohli

firstly, dignifying this ad with a review is the most generous gesture I can do for this company and watching the ad is the most painful activity you can endure. This ad is as bad as they get before somebody realizes and dumps it. It doesn't make sense to discuss the factors we generally discuss but on a final note I would say that people who value 32 movies more than common sense would definitely buy the handset.

Abhishek Bachchan - IDEA heavenly app series - Lie detector

This ad is part of a series of ads having the same backdrop of Abhishek Bachchan sitting in "heaven" and promoting IDEA 3G apps and services through absurd logic and poorly writen cliched dialogues like "... karna is old idea". Here, I would talk only about the one in which  Abhishek Bachchan standing at the gates and assessing the newcomers to heaven. Abhishek Bachchan catches the plumber who for some reason pretends as a soldier, lying using a lie detector app on his phone. The ad is devoid of any humor at all and calling the concept or storyline as even slightly intelligent would be a joke. Watching the ad again and again frustrates and bachchan junior's smug expression doesn't help. The ad fails to deliver any message or value to the customer.
